Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to your data when you use PDFConverter. The short version: your documents never leave your device.

Your files

We never receive your files. Every conversion offered on this site runs entirely inside your browser, using JavaScript executed on your own device. The contents of the documents you convert are never uploaded, never stored and never processed on our servers, because there is no server-side processing at all. We could not read your documents even if we wanted to.

Data we do collect

We do not ask you to register, and we do not collect names, email addresses or any other personal information you would have to type in. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical access logs (IP address, date and time, browser type) for security and for diagnosing faults.

Cookies and advertising

This site shows advertising through Google AdSense, which may use cookies to display ads and measure their performance. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject those cookies, and we apply Google Consent Mode v2: until you accept, advertising and analytics storage stay denied. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and you can change it by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage for one thing only: remembering your cookie choice, so we don't ask again on every visit. Nothing else is stored, and nothing stored on your device is ever sent to us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data. Since we do not hold personal data about you beyond the technical logs described above, there is normally nothing to access or erase, but you can contact us with any question at contacto@pdfconverter.hazvo.com.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
